The Topology Optimization Webinar, or TOP Webinar, is a continuing series of webinars, serving the broad structural and multidisciplinary optimization community, with a focus on topology optimization. Our intention is to share the latest research and development in this field, and by doing so, to keep our community connected.
The TOP Webinar is endorsed by the International Society for Structural and Multidisciplinary Optimization (ISSMO).
The webinar takes place online, on the basis of roughly every four weeks, for a duration of 1.5 hours. Each webinar features 5 invited presentations* (~15 minutes each, including a short Q&A) of recently published/accepted articles in SMO (Structural and Multidisciplinary Optimization) and relevant journals. There is an extended Q&A discussion after all talks.
*We envision the webinar presentation is more like a pitch rather than a normal conference presentation that we are used to. It is advised to focus on the core concepts and leave the details in the published/accepted articles.
